About Me:
I retired in 1999 as associate dean of arts and sciences at TCU (Texas Christian University) in Ft. Worth, Texas, USA. I also taught advanced writing courses and women's literature. My Passions:
women's issues, GLBT issues, world hunger, teaching in Senior College

My Challenges:
helping my husband to live a fulfilling life after beginning dialysis

My Vision for the Future:
a world in which all of us can dwell in peace, accepting differences and working together to feed, clothe, and nourish all people.

My Areas of Expertise:

Welcome Priscilla!

Priscilla,
Welcome to PulseWire and the engaged community of women around the world who have similar passions, challenges and visions as you!

It made me happy to read about your "great joys" during your professional career. Those are huge accomplishments that will impact so many people. Congratulations! If you care to share more about yourself, you might want to post some words in your journal. It's similar to a blog.

I also encourage you to check-out other parts of this website. You might find a group that resonates with you that you could join (http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/groups). This is where specific topics or actions can be shared. For example, the Rafiki Club (http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/groups/6627) offers an opportunity to connect with women in Africa through letters.

Wherever your explorations lead you, I know you will enjoy the warmth of this community!
In Peace,
Marlies
