hearts in the land of birth

Welcome to PulseWire! I look forward to reading more about your work and MAFED. Your words "our feet are in the host country but our hearts are in the land of our birth" speaks volumes of stories. I'd love to read more about your experiences.

I see that you just posted your introduction, and you still have time to submit your personal experience with what the word "land' means to you for My Story. The deadline for submission is tonight (Sunday) at 11:59 PST. (As I type, that's just over 5 hours away.)

Social exclusion is dangerous

Folks, I'm working on a project to empower rural women with ICT and the new media.
Where can I find funding for this? It's so heavy in my head and heart but I can't do it alone.
Can someone tell me where I can find computers and some funding to hire the facilitators?

Fundraising toolkit

Hi, I just noticed your comment and thought that I should point out the World Pulse Fundraising Toolkit.

This guide will give you some tips on looking for funding and how to best craft your proposals. I would also encourage you to post a detailed "Need" entry in our Resource Exchange ( Many members have been able to connect with people who are able to provide computers, funding or other expertise.

Good luck, and let us know if you have any updates!
