A Note from WP Editorial Team

To all—

Hello from WP's editorial team! First of all, congratulations to all for completing the VOF program and for entering into this new phase!

We have been so thrilled with the level of dedication, commitment, and passion you have all exhibited, and it's been an honor to share these last few months with you. I want to emphasize that your journey is not over and that PulseWire is your place to continue to connect, dialogue, share, and grow. The WP editorial team will continue to keep an eye out for exemplary stories to publish. We treat PulseWire as our newswire, and we are constantly on the site looking for new angles, new writers, and new content to publish.

I also wanted to give you all an update about your Op-Eds and feature stories. As you may remember, we chose seven Op-Eds for publication. Three of those stories will appear on WorldPulse.com next week, as part of our Column department (http://www.worldpulse.com/magazine/columns). The other four stories will appear over the following weeks.

We are still in the process of determining which feature story to publish. We will be choosing just ONE story to appear on WorldPulse.com. We'll make that announcement to the group by the end of this week. We're having so much fun reading through your stories, but as always, having a hard time choosing! Stay tuned!

I know that this week is a hard week for you all as the program wraps up and the awardees are about to be announced. Remember that we consider you all winners and that WP is proud to share virtual space with each and every one of you.

Your journey is not over with us—this is just the beginning!

With love,

Corine

Dear Corine, Thank you so

Dear Corine,

Thank you so much for the wonderful gift of sharing yourself to us. We really need this kind of support for us women in developing countries. Our lives are always in peril but we need to cross that danger zones to be heard. The voices of marginalized women here in the Philippines may not be loud compared to others but WP helps our voices louder .

My inspiration to move on is you at the WorldPulse and all the oppressed women in the world particularly Filipino women and our people . They are the reasons of my being here with you

Congratulations for making the best of everything!

love,
malaya
