Hi Betsy! I add my welcome to this community. It's an exciting place to connect with women all over the globe. The stories I've read have inspired and challenged me. I hope you find it equally so. Look forward to hearing more about you and your areas of interest and passion. I just finished reading "Half the Sky" by Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, an excellent book that introduced me to issues of women's health I had never heard about. Have you read it?
Thanks for the great recommendation. I just finished reading Half the Sky a few days ago! Amazing, well written, inspiring. I have spent some time working in Africa and I am thankful that these two journalists have brought some of these difficult issues to light. It is a call to arms that women have needed for years! I of course am trying to figure out how I can return to the developing world again.
Thanks for the message. I am also recommending this book to everyone I know!
Its apleasure to meet you in this space ,Pulsewire would serve our problems, sharing and solving with the fellow community members, And just by making astep of faith , be in the community.
Once again your name reminds me of my daughter who is also Betshy, Iwish you best of luck in Pulsewire,We all are aware that in some areas it has not been working well with Women, but we wannt to encourage them to stear ahead, after all before God everybody is equal despite colour or race.
