Encouraging Women to Share their Story

Welcome to the My Story Listeners Group!
This is an exciting, new World Pulse program and we are honored that you have volunteered to help nurture its growth and sustainability. The editorial team wanted to create a space in World Pulse Magazine for women from around the world to speak out and share their own experiences on a unified topic. The theme of Land was chosen, as the Spring 2010 edition is called Earth, which showcases women leaders who are protecting and restoring the planet's ecosystems. And as we've already witnessed, Land can be interpreted in so many ways.
For me it has been so moving to read the words of women who have already shared their story of Land on PulseWire. As we are all connected to each other in sharing this planet and this land, I find bits of myself in each story.
What has been your experience in reading these stories of Land?
There are still ten days left for women to submit their story and as we continue to reach out to women's organizations and within PulseWire, I sense the mosaic of stories will grow to paint a large, global picture of Land.
For these next ten days, I encourage you to keep reaching out to new members and welcome them. Share with them the benefits of the PulseWire community and encourage them to share their voice. Encourage them to submit their story. And if you haven't yet read through the current My Story submissions, take a look! And offer these brave women some words of encouragement and reflection.
