Introducing myself and my journal: And today, I change the world!

About Me:
I am a woman. A sister. A daughter. A friend. An activist.
I work. I play. I sleep. I dream.

I love life and hope to make a difference in the world, not only creating the best possible world for myself, but for all others, as we are all one. I like to look to the saying "ubuntu", or, "You are because I am, and I am because you are." We are all connected and I feel it is important to remember that in all that we do.

I currently work to end domestic and sexual violence against women and children, but feel as though that is one of my many passions. While I consider myself very lucky to be passionate about so many things in life, it makes it hard to narrow down my field of interest! However, I do know that I want to continually learn more about the world that I live in and hope to do so by learning from other women, from all around the world, through the sharing of our stories.

My Passions:
women's rights, reproductive justice, domestic and sexual violence, body image, vegetaranism, environmental issues

My Challenges:
Figuring out how to combine my passions to create a precise plan of action!

My Areas of Expertise:
Domestic and Sexual Violence, Reproductive Justice for Women

So nice to have you!!

Welcome welcome welcome. You sound like a woman after my own passions! Ubuntu indeed! I am very passionate about women's and girl's rights- especially concerning violence and reproductive health/rights.

I used to work in a Domestic Violence shelter in the United States but now I am a Peace Corps volunteer in Jamaica and I work with girls in a home (much like a shelter because all of the girls are coming from abusive situations).

I am glad that you are passionate about what you are doing. I can tell you from experience that there is no better feeling in the world than to love what you are doing and where you are while making a difference in people's lives.

Keep living the "good" life of standing up for a (or mutiple) causes! I look forward to reading more about your jounrney.

Peace and Love,

ps- I also dig on are you a memeber of the community? My memeber name is ShareseL

Hi Noblessh, I have

Hi Noblessh,
I have realiased that we share alot in common with you ,but ithink that finaly you have resorted to where you can best be heard ( pulsewire) As aservant of God who work with Church organisations ,imeet issues mostly even partaining to Domestic and Sexual Violence,
I only want to encourage you to open up and not wrapped in yourself so that you cannot see people, There can be too many layers around you that might have kept you from reaching out to them.Money ,worry, guilt, conceit are some of those things.
I h
ope that here is where you will get some of lifes solutions.
Share my warm regards with the family.
