Welcome to PulseWire!

We are thrilled to have you as a new member in our thriving community of women who are lifting their voices in the name of empowerment and connecting across borders to make positive change for women everywhere!

I am inspired by your work, your passion for birth-giving rights and your zest for life! I hope that you can share with us about the Birth Giving Institute through your PulseWire journal. Think of your journal as a blog, where you can speak your mind and reach an audience of over 3000 women and supporters of women's initiatives. I think that you will find PulseWire to be an exciting place to garner support, make connections and share your story!

A few of our members are going through a rich program for grassroots citizen journalism training here on PulseWire. We call them our Voices of Our Future Correspondents. This month was their last assignment in the program and several wrote interesting feature articles on birthing. You can read them here:

Maternal Mortality: Should Women Die Giving Life?
-written by Gifty (Ghana)

- written by Olutosin (Nigeria)

I would also like to invite you to participate in a new writing opportunity to be published in World Pulse Magazine. We are asking women around the world to tell us what Land means to them.
