Wow, I am so happy...
We had doctors appointments today and in the lobby they often have craftspeople there displaying their crafts for sale. We can never afford them most times and today was one of those days where we saw things we loved a lot but...
She had such a great personality that I thought how much I would love to interview her and tell about her and the thought of actually asking her 'just like that' made me so nervous I had to run to the bathroom to calm my nerves down again. I told myself 'Just do it or regret it forever!' and went back and handed her one of those cards we got and explained the program and how I would love to do an interview with her.
So yeah, getting over my shyness or nervousness or lack of confidence or whatever it is called! Reading of the other woman doing it made me so happy and made me feel a bit more confident to try just going up to someone I would love to write about and I actually did it today! Wow! Not sure when our schedules can match up to meet but yeah!
One of my daughters was with me and was proud I did it too. I am much shyer in person then on here!!
Phew, what a day since I thought of 4 different articles to write about that place and the people while I was there besides the one I actually asked! so, it was a baby step but they say the first one is the hardest so...

Maria

Hooray!
Great job Maria! Way to break on through your personal barriers. I love that line you told yourself...."Just do it or regret it forever!" I'll have to remember that one. ;-)
Looking forward to reading more of your work!
Best,
