Introducing myself and my journal: Peace, Love, and Unity Now!

About Me:
My name is Oona Mitchell and I am a seaker of knowledge, an amalgam of the world. I have always been fascinated by our differences and our similarities as humans and my life-long goal is to make them understood and respected. I currently live in Portland Oregon where I am attending school and will be finishing with majors in Psychology and International Studies. I recently started the organization (Comm)UnityArt, creating community connection through art. My vision is to bring people together across all sort of lines from all sorts of backgrounds to create art as a way of healing and connecting. I see this happening in some of the most deeply torn and hurt places in our world and if you see this as well, please contact me!

My Passions:
connections, people, cultural respect, dancing, learning languages, sharing a smile.

My Challenges:
getting my voice out there

My Vision for the Future:
connecting groups of people that currently don't see themselves in the same light. I see people who harbor hate and fear against others getting together with them and creating art as a means of understanding and healing.

SO many ideas, one LARGE vision. A beautiful friend and I are in the process of creating a new kind of business that profits, supports and encourages refugees around the world. Many of these will be women as we see micro-lending for start-up businesses in the plan as well as employing refugee and immigrants here in the US as well as the areas in which conflicts are the root cause of demolished homes and families.

I am purposefully being vague at this moment, but please expect me to share full out in the very near future. I will need your love, support and connection to make this happen!

with great respect and appreciation,

Am just going to give an incite into what i will be posting here in a couple of day,why so many young and even older women are at the receiving end of most assulting issues of life, fear is the bedrock of the many woes women encounter in life.if only they can be empowered to overcome fear the story of Maria would not seen nor heard, full details coming soon.

And if also Women could

And if also Women could release that we are now living in achanging World and stop this sure of wanting to get everything from men and start to work for themselves then that suffering would reduce because most women get mistreated because they look at men as their only way to survive
