My Vision for the Future:
A kinder, gentler world with equal opportunity for all.
I am one of the lucky ones living in the United States where, for the most part, people are safe and women have opportunity. I am well aware that this is not the case in many other parts of the world. What can we Americans do to help? I have joined Amnesty International, which seems to be a great group doing good work. Beyond joining that group, and now PulseWire, if anyone has ideas as to how we lucky Americans can be of more help, I would like to hear from you!
Hey there! Welcome to PulseWire!
Its so exciting having you with us, I am sure you will have a fun time with your new online friends. I know that you will find this to be a positive experience and I encourage you to take advantage of the numerous resources and features available through our vibrant online community.
Welcome again to our global community and I look forward to hearing more from you here on PulseWire!
Hello and welcome to PulseWire. Amnesty International is a great place to start! There are also a lot of things you can do within the WorldPulse community. Support PulseWire members by reading journal entries through Voices Rising and provide your comments. There are a number of groups on PulseWire you may be interested in, just look through the Group Directory to find a group and connect with other members. Sharing Solutions is designed for members to share their best practices with others, and Action Alerts allow members to call others to action on behalf of women and girls around the world. There are so many resources available on PulseWire, I hope you explore them all! Outside of WorldPulse you might want to check out Girl Effect--their Your Move document is a good place to start. I can't wait to hear more from you, and please let me know if you have any questions about WorldPulse or PulseWire.
