My Bold Idea

My Bold Idea? Create community advisory boards with children and young adults as key consultants, all over the world. Compel folks at NGOs and government bodies alike to LISTEN to what kids are observing and experiencing in their communities.
Figure out how to do this (especially the Make-Adults-Listen part!) and I guaruntee that basic needs, economic empowerment, human and women's rights, and social justice will be at the forefront of global policy making.
Now if only figuring out how to do something like this (even just locally, let alone on a global scale) were as simple as knowing what amazing results we'd see if someone could make this happen!
