23 died in a collapsed church in Nepal
At Tuesday midnight an accident occurred at a church near Victoria Chock, in Dharan, Nepal resulting in the death of 23 people including 4 children. It occurred around 11:30 p.m when the four storey makeshift bamboo house which was being built for a religious ceremony being organized at Seyon church collapsed. I would like to express my sympathy to the families. May their souls rest in peace.

Many children become orphan...
Dear Jodelight,
One of my relatives home is only 5 min far from the accident. Today I talked with him and he said he has also lost his friend in that accident. Many people were from Jhapa district. they came Dharan in search of better employment. Most of them were parents and their children were in home. It is also said that many children have become orphan after the accident.

Voiceless Media
Hello Heather,
These days nepali media give more priority to celebrates rather than listening public voices and others issues. Not only in the case but also currently there is a diarrhea outbreak but there is no media attention. "INSEC record shows the death toll of diarrhea is 464 in 18 districts of Mid and Far Western Regions from April 30 to September 18 2009."
Thank you so much for your sympathies.
With Love and Regards
