Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
One in Three Women™, is a global campaign to raise awareness about violence against women. One in Three Women™ participates in dialogue with advocates worldwide to strengthen the base of support in the work to end VAW. We also develop products and tools for educating and awareness raising. Building relationships with others doing similar work is very important to us.

One in Three Women™ is facilitating inter-cultural, international dialogue to promote coalition building against violence against women (VAW). We are a pipeline, establishing collaborative relationships, bringing participatory, kindred spirits together to create fundamental change that ends VAW.

My Passions:
empowering women and building relationships with others focused on ending violence against women.

My Challenges:
Writing a new story of how to do this work

My Vision for the Future:
A world where women and girls reach their full potential, and attain gender equality.

My Areas of Expertise:
Gender violence, leadership and strategi thinking.

Welcome to PulseWire.

I find the best thing about the one in three campaign is that is shows violence against women is a global problem - it happens everywhere - is it not exclusive to one particular community or culture. A lot of people in Australia, who aren't aware of the issues, seem to think this is something that doesn't happens here and isn't a big problem - but it does and it is. One in three is a useful way to drive that home for people.

I look forward to hearing more about your work addressing violence against women.
