Mu Sochua speaking Sept. 14 at UC Berkeley

Hi there, PulseWire folk –

Wanted to let you all know that PulseWire member Mu Sochua will be here on the UC Berkeley campus tomorrow, Sept. 14, to speak about politics in Cambodia and the ways in which social work values inform her work as a politician. The talk is free, so if any of you are also in the Bay Area, you should definitely consider joining me to hear her speak. Here are more details from the School of Social Welfare.

I'm hoping to catch up with her afterward to say hello, but there often is a Q&A session following these events – does anyone have a question they'd like to ask Ms. Sochua? I myself would like to know what progress has been made with DEVI House, which she was seeking funds and volunteers for back in April on the Resource ExChange board.
