Introducing myself and my journal: WOMEN SUPPORTING WOMEN

About Me:
I HAVE BEEN IN THE LEGAL FIELD FOR A LONG TIME AND LATELY I CREATED A SUPPORT GROUP IN MY COMMUNITY, AFTER SEEING THAT STILL IMMIGRANT RIGHTS WERE NOT RESPECT IN MY CITY. MY GROUP IS A SMALL ONE; WE ARE ONLY 7, WE GET TOGETHER ONCE A MONTH AND WE ENRICH OURSELVES WITH INFORMATION BUT WE WOULD LIKE TO REACH MORE WOMEN WHO ARE WILLING TO LEARN DIFFERENT TOPICS OR INFORM US ABOUT THEIR TOPICS OF INTEREST. WE GIVE FREE INFORMATION AND WE TALK ABOUT DIFFERENT ISSUES.

My Passions:
HELPING PEOPLE AND EMPOWER GIRLS AND WOMEN

My Challenges:
KEEPING FOCUSED

My Vision for the Future:
RESPECT OF WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD AND PEACE IN THEWORLD

My Areas of Expertise:
IMMIGRATION IN THE USA, INDIGENOUS LAWS AND LEGAL ASPECT IN PERU AND WOMEN

Hello

Jody

Thank you for such a nice welcome to this community; I am learning all the tools that this community provides and yes, I would like to be more active in my community. I have been touched by many immigrants stories that make me keep going and fight against the abuse.
I love to be in touch with women around the world and share and learn..

warmest wishes,

Ingadia

Welcome!

Hi ingadia,

We are thrilled to have you as a new member in our thriving community of women who are lifting their voices in the name of empowerment and connecting across borders to make positive change for women everywhere! The best way to communicate and share your voice is to write in your journal, read the journals of fellow members and offer comments, or join a group and share in the dialogue by contributing to the group journal.

It is exciting to have a new member from Peru - as we need more members from Latin America to give a voice to women from this region of the world. It's also great to have a legal professional in our community.

I encourage you to download the Legal Tools for the Establishment of Gender Equality through International Law handbook that the Global Justice Center put together and has offered to PulseWire members. Perhaps this could be of use to your group!

You may also consider connecting with the following women who are working in Peru in women empowerment, are active in indigenous rights or are other legal professionals around the world.
