STAND UP and TAKE ACTION to...
Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger
Achieve universal primary education
Empower women
Improve maternal health
Combat HIV/AIDS
Ensure environmental sustainability
Develop a global partnership
TO END POVERTY BY 2015.
The above are the UN Millennium Development Goals which aim to end poverty by 2015 by meeting ALL of those goals.
Due to the recent financial crisis, governments have started to renege on these promises, opting to sacrifice lives to cut costs
- We cannot, will not, allow that to happen -
On October 17th, we ask you to
SPEAK OUT
STAND UP
TAKE ACTION
hold our government accountable for the achievement of the MDGs.
Last year, 2% of the WORLD's population STOOD UP for these goals,
will you add your voice to the movement?
