Ideas about Op/ED

Dear colleagues,
Please tell me what issue is of a better interest to you?
My first thought is to write an OP/Ed on "Moldova - the poorest country in Europe"
I would like here to express the opinion on how many journalists use this phrase to capture reader's attention on it. And how sick it is to hear it and read about it"
My another OP/ED Idea would be migration of population. And how big issue it is for the future generations, especially the "Who Cares about What" topic will be followed.
Another idea since the independence of our country is being soon celebrated and the our language day - another "Big Fest", my point here would be who tries to steal our identity and why, and the history of our nation in today's school books as a mass confusion to future generations.
And one last - Stepping over heads... reality of Status oriented communities.
I would really appreciate your comments!!!

I have mostly seen Moldova depicted and written about as the poorest country in Europe (or new member of Europe). I would love to see a more complete picture of your country. Just my two cents. The other ideas sound interesting too.

All of your ideas are interesting. I think would be most interested in reading about the migration of young people out of Moldova, and how that impacts the country. You could tie that in to the coming celebrations and maybe offer reasons why young people might consider not leaving Moldova.

Dear Victoria,
I am very curious about your idea of an Op-Ed article about Moldova's branding as the poorest European country - the stigma of a people, culture, or country can be a heavy burden - and is often exacerbated by the media. Why perpetuate a negative image? Can it be lifted/changed by a generation? Beckons many questions...
