Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I am a grandmother of three, active in two women's spituality groups where we explore and share the deeper issues of our lives. I have lived internationally, and am an artist and student of my truth. I am willing to look inside and learn what makes me tick! I am an encourager of others, and want us all to be able to choose and have our lives the way we want them. I am learing to be patient and let growth come in it's own time. I have moved from depression to happiness, and am ever grateful! I am married for 5 years to the long lost love of my youth!

My Passions:
peace, women's issues, art, spirituality, equality, justice

My Challenges:
Why is this part so hard? Hmmm. More, later!

My Vision for the Future:
a world where women's voices lead to peace and justice

My Areas of Expertise:
facilitating groups, art, organization, being a friend, speaking up!

Hi, welcome to World pulse. What type of spirituality do you like? I like your point of view. I like life to be fair and just... Then earth wouldn't hold a type of hells here... Unfairness, injustice, oppression, poverty...

I believe in a better world and I'm so happy to have found others who believe in this goal too! It's interesting how woman are making a come back hmm? Am I babbling? Sorry if I am talking complete nonsense to a new person.... Sorry.

"Fight fire with fire, you'll end up with ashes."
"A charming lady does not follow the crowd, she is herself."

Thanks!

Smiling: I'm not a new woman, I'm 64! WaHooo! My spirituality studies and leanings are The wisdom of the ancient mothers, the new quantum physics of our oneness, a blend of nature and the All That Is.....the possibilites of a new evolution of female aspects of union, relationship, community, respect, personal growth into joy, etc! I was raised a Christian missionary kid, and have sped on with my investigations! Always questioning, wondering "what if"? I just reread this, and I'm wondering "Who is this amazing person?" oops, it's me! ha! I usually don't have to put these things into words, so thanks for asking! Love to you.

hi!

Are you Jo-Delight? or Jode-light? Both are wonderful! I am happy to find this incredible alternative to facebook! HA! Some friends talked me into it, and I have found some old ones, which is good, but there seems to be something lacking! I don't want to spend my time being shallow :) silly is good, however!

I met my love in '77, at 32, newly divorced with 2 kids.(at McDonald's) Fast forward, he returned to me in '98 and we married in 2005! I had to repair my own broken heart at the time, and this love is my reward! I can see it was necessary, but it was awful.
Love, g

lovely!

hello dear,

It's a pleasure to read about your life. I'm so glad that you are here with us on PulseWire. What a beautiful story you have!
My name on here is a combination of my first and middle names. Jody Delight. My mother has the same middle name also, it's been passed down for a number of generations. I used to be embarassed by it when I was young, but now I love it. I feel like it has become my mantra: Delight in Life.
And you? I love your name, gingerchild. I think of sweetness, spice and youthfulness. Did you choose your name for a certain reason? Do share:)
Anyway, I look forward to connecting with you on PulseWire in the future.

hugs,
Jody delight

my name

HI! What at "delightful" name! And one with history! Wonderful!
I chose my name in 1982 as I pondered who I am, and what I wanted to be called. I was working on my inner child at the time, healing her, and I loved Julia Child, and it's easy to spell! I didn't want my father's name, nor my ex's name. I chose one of my own! I also have three middle names, (unofficial): Elizabeth Ayla Jonquil ! I have retained "Child" even after my recent marriage...:)
Thanks for writing! Hugs and love, Ginger
