My Op-ed thoughts: I realy need your help!!

Hi girls,
Now I'm wondering whether to write about Domestic violence. I have grown up in the midst of it, with many close relatives affected by it. It has brought me pain, and maybe what I am today or the humble job that I have, is all because of my experiences.
At CREAW, we meet women from all walks of life, most of whom are poor and marginalized. they come for legal aid/ counseling.
Then there is my family, where I have seen women suffer in silence, afraid of speaking out. I may not have answers to their problems, but I know that I am angry. Angry that I do not want to experience what they experience.
So now, do I write about how it has affected me, How it has impacted most of their lives, or give answers to "how we have helped some of them? Are these even valuable angles? Is it too simple a subject to write about? will it sell?
Help me out!!

Personally?
Personally? I would be intrigued to read more about how you view the silence of women and the reasons behind them not being able to speak up. Of course I see this in my family too and it would be really interesting to read how another woman from a completely different family from a totally different part of the world perceives the exact same thing!
I do not know if this would make a good op-ed or not as I am definitely no expert at this, but I thought I would share my personal opinion and tell you that to me, I would love to read about that.

I agree with Arda. You have worked with so many women. This can give u a good insight into the problems and also where u think women go wrong and what exaclty they ought to or not to do.
Remember it is your opinion and it will defintely be shaped by your experiences.
