Announcing the Three Frontline Journals to Be Published!

Hello from the World Pulse Editorial Team!

When I was told that we would be choosing three of your frontline journals for publication on, I knew that we would have a hard time deciding—I just didn't know it would be this agonizing! At World Pulse headquarters we have been so impressed with the quality of the work you have all produced. It is truly an honor to be working with such high caliber women who have such amazing and powerful stories to share with the world.

After many hours of deliberation, we have come to our decision!

Please congratulate your fellow correspondents Dando, Halima, and Arda. Their stories will go through a brief editing phase in the next few weeks, and then will be published on in September. They will also be included in our next electronic magazine (emagazine), which goes out to an audience of 10,000 readers.

You can read the winning assignments here:

A Deprived Community, by Dando
Finding A Future Without Female Genital Mutilation, by Halima Mohamed
Not Enough Energy for Constant Hatred, by Arda

As you all embark on your Month 3 journey, please keep in mind that a similar publication prize will be offered for your third assignments. Stay tuned—I will announce the details in the coming weeks!

And again—congratulations to Dando, Halima, and Arda, and to all of you for your amazing work!

With love,
