Introducing myself and my journal: Me

anniewhit's picture

I picked up a magazing today at the market. It caught my eye because on the cover, there is a picture of a beautiful young woman. The magazine is called World Pulse, and now here I am embarking on an adventure in this forum. It is sometimes difficult to know what to write about yourself when asked to introduce ourselves, so here goes.
I am a 38 year old woman from Oregon. One of the first things people ask me is if I am a mom, no I am not. This is the life I have been given and greaving over the "what ifs" can be energy sucking. With that being said it is true that I don't have the unique understanding of being a mother, but it doesn't make me any less compassionate.
I have worked in the healthcare field a Respiratory Therapist for 16 years. Some of that time spent in the US Navy. I have been fortunate enought to have traveled and hope to travel more. I work to have fun. Fun is defined by me as being in nature, and spending time with close friends and family.
