Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I am excited about the transformative possibilities of web 2.0 to inform and mobilize progressive communities around the world, and getting involved with PulseWire as an intern with the online community fits right into that.

Hi

Michelle,
Great that you are interning...so you are in PDX! What will you be doing? I hope to meet you in person.
I've been volunteering for the past months welcoming new members on PulseWire and continue to find a powerful energy within the community.

I know this will be a great experience for you!

Warmly,
Laura

Hi Laura!

I also will be welcoming new members. I'm pretty excited to get started. I moved to Portland from Seattle last year, but I'm just starting to get involved with things here. I noticed that you are a graphic designer-- I just finished making an interactive project about found items for a multimedia class I'm taking, but I can never get anything on the screen to look half as good once it's printed!

Thanks Sharese! I also like your photo, did you paint it? My friend drew the picture of me. She also does sweet graffiti art in Seattle.
