I was looking for women social entreprneurs in Africa, when I came to this site, and instantly set up an account. I realised later, that it has only women members, and now I am not sure if I am invading the space, being a man. Do let me know, if I am, then accept my apologies and then how to remove my account.

'Biz in a backpack' is my organization's workshop's name to promote youth women social entrepreneurs.

No invasion at all

hi Manu,
This community is for women and their male allies to raise their voices about issues that affect women and their communities. You are most welcome and we even have a group for men who support women in their grassroots efforts to empower themselves. It is called "Through His Eyes" and can be found at:

Are you looking for women entrepreneurs in a specific area of development or in a particular geographic region? Let me know and I will do my best to connect you. It's great to have a male friend supporting women in their efforts to make a positive difference in this world. Again, welcome,
PulseWire Community Director

Thanks Janice

Hi Janice,

Thanks for your welcoming email.

For most part of my career, I have been involved in creating & promoting livelihoods and other poverty reduction solutions for women. For past couple of years, I have been mentoring a few women led SEs, and recently one of them got voted among the top 5 start-ups in India ( At present, am also helping a group of women to set up a Women Resource Centre at New Delhi, India.

I will be happy to mentor, advise & promote any women led social enterprise/projects across.
