Hey there, VG!
I also love the hiking and the sea and vampires. What's your favorite hike ever? Favorite Ocean? Vampire film?
Here are mine:
Hike: The hike to Machu Picchu. Why? That's where I learned that if I keep going, even slowly, doing what I can when I can, I'll end up ahead of the game.
Ocean: The Pacific Ocean, Oregon Coast. Why? Because it's beautiful, scary, powerful, unpredictable and thrilling.
Vampire film: The Hunger, with Catherine Deneuve, Susan Sarandon and David Bowie. Why? Tony Scott packs layers of social commentary into a hip, gorgeous package.
I look forward to hearing your favorites!

Passions
Thank you for responding to my passions. I am a Bodega Bay lover, however when I had lived in Bend Oregon I recall several hikes in those woods. I love the smell of pine and cold. It is so very awsome. And the powerful aspects may seem scary, but it is in faith to couragously accept all that the great spirt has to show us in our lives. I find mysef in awe when I stand before the crash of the waves of the ocean, and warmth when I feel the sunlight spot my skin between the leaves and branches of trees. In regards to my favorite vampire movies, I have several, but don't you know that I do not regard most of the titles!!!!!! I am so very attracted to the concept and the ual innuendo of them. The immortal passion which they seem to present to me.
Hello
I forgot to add that you can see a picture that I have drawn on . . /bent_arrow. It is an ink drawing on the right side.
It's so lovely to learn more
It's so lovely to learn more about you!
What kind of artwork and painting do you do?
It would be great to see some of that work if you have any images online! :)

Art
I had gone to the Academy of Art in San Francisco some years back to become an illustrator. Unfortuatly things occurred which prevented me from completeing my degree. I periodically have done portraits throughtout the years, but it wasn't until receintly that I dabbled in canvas and paint. I am expecting to recieve via e-mail my piece that I had done as a final project for my spiritual class. I sold it five minutes after I got there. It was a blessing because I don't have a job yet and really needed the money. I will keep you posted. I will be doing more soon.
What a small world!!! Both
What a small world!!! Both my brother and sister went to the Academy of Art in SF—my brother for animation, my sister for fashion design. They both really enjoyed it. And i know art is very important to both of them for the very reasons you're mentioning.
If you do get the chance, your PulseWire journal is a great place to share your art! I'm sure the women in this community would love to see your work.
Let me know if you have any problems attaching the images, or with anything else. :)

Thank you for responding. I am grateful for your offer in assisting me with attachments because my friend sent me a picture of the piece I had done as a final. I have it as an attachment from her, but I don't know how to share it with my community, or put it on my myspace site. Please guide me.
Welcome, VG
