Frontline journal angle

Big Hello to Everybody! Just as the world is always rushing , i'm also trying to come up my frontline journal angle. Still not definite of my story but im entertaining to write about the forthcoming Philippine State of the Nation Adress of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on July 27 in the opening of Congress vis-a-vis the protest movement during this period. Definetely she's going to talk about her accomplishment on poverty alleviation, jobs generations, curbing corruption etc. I would like to have an angle on the real state of the nation /Filipino situation in contrast of what the President is talking about . I will be also writing as stories of ordinary women who are in the frontlines of protests. . I have also in mind writing about Melissa Roxas - a Fil-Am activist/ who was abducted and tortured by suspected military agents during her community health work here in the Philippines a month ago. She went back here last July 20 to file case against the perpetrators.

So much angles to think about on this very day of President's State of the Nation Adress but still on the process of sorting out what is best. Of course your comments /suggestions could be of helped.

Kudos to all who have already theirs. My apologies for not giving feedbacks- still finding time to write you all -

love to all,

interesting idea

That sounds like it would be a great one to read! I often think of writing such a one for indigenous people here in America to contrast reality versus talk. So you will mention the state of the union address in the opening then go through and talk of your country or try to do it point by point?

I think it would be great to read of the courage of the activist though since it is inspiring to read of people who believe in Truth more then self in that way.

Both sound like very interesting ones so look forward to seeing which one you decide on.
