About Me:
The Global Justice Center (GJC) is a unique, non-governmental organization dedicated to enforcing gender parity through international law. The vision of the GJC is a world where the definition of democracy presumes that women are legally entitled to be partners in decision-making processes in government, parliament, cease-fire negotiations, peacekeeping forces, war crimes tribunals, constitution-drafting committees, judicial bodies and non-governmental organizations. The mission of the GJC is to work with global leaders on the strategic and timely enforcement of international equality guarantees.

My Passions:
Forging international legal precedents and model legal strategies; providing democracy advocates, women activists and judges with "on the ground" international law expertise; empowering "law entrepreneurs" to embed gender equality under international law.

My Challenges:
The entrenched political and cultural norms that perpetuate male dominated decision-making bodies; the historical imbalance for women in global governance and political power.

My Vision for the Future:
The realization of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; as stated in the preamble: "the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world."
