Welcome

I am so happy that you found us and look forward to hearing more of your ideas to alleviate poverty. The DRC has had a long struggle with governance and it seems that until more stability is achieved and funds distributed more equitably amongst the people, poverty will continue to be an issue. The establishment of micro-finance enterprises is certainly helping to remedy the situation at the grassroots level but often the assistance can seem like drops in the vast ocean. I wish you well in your endeavours and please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist you on PulseWire.

Here, you will find women who have dared to speak out and are making connections crossing oceans, continents, and cultural barriers to change the way we live. Stories are being told, movements are being started and laws are being reformed as lives are transformed. You are now a member of this vibrant community and I look forward to reading more about your passions, ideas, concerns and dreams.

To get started, you can share your ideas and dreams by writing in your journal, reading other member's journals and offering comments, and joining groups to participate in the discussions. Our group directory (http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/groups) is where you may find a group with similar interests to your own.

Again, welcome.
