2 photojournalists have been arrested
Dear Friends,
Majid Saidi, well-known photojournalist has been arrested and there was rumuor on Satyar Emami's arrest, another photojournalist. but nobody talked of him. They took Saidi's hard disks from his home and the news says his photos have been published in Getty images. Of course it's not confirmed by his family and had told the friends, after he was pictured in TV among demonstrators, he doesn't take his camera with him as people themselves became journalists and participate in news feedings.
Based on Sara's words (his wife), they've no news from Majid and searched everywhere to find news but no news till now. Satyar's arrest hasn't been confirmed but his mom said he's been arrested and what they say that he's on a mission is not true. He was not supposed to go to any mission. It could make his situation more complicated when it's not confirmed that he's in jail. He was very active as a photojournalist during these events.

The flagrant and constant
The flagrant and constant trampling on human rights in Iran is very disturbing. Is there any online petition going around for people to sign calling for their release? please let us know is there is.
Peace!

Petition
There's a petition to ask to not recognise present president. it's said it should reach 40,000 before the UN concerns itself with it.

voice
I am alarmed by the blatant disregard for human rights. I do think it's important that you are giving a voice for this issue right now; you are an important piece in the power of journalism. Let's work together to bring public recognition to the world, and bring this issue before the UN. We must strive to change the human rights violations, one voice at a time, one protest and one petition at a time.
