Why the name "World Pulse" and "PulseWire" and "Voices of Our Future" ?

Hi everyone!
Gifty asked a great question that I wanted to respond to since it might be of interest to all - why did we choose the name World Pulse, PulseWire and Voices of Our Future?

Why World Pulse? I think of World Pulse as the electric pulse of women's rising voices across the globe. It is the heartbeat of the planet. Alive - a new frequency that will transform the world. But it is a little known secret that World Pulse wasn't her first name - it wasn't her birth name. In fact, i was riding my bicycle one day up a very big hill when i was 28 years old .i was dreaming of a magazine i wanted to start that would connect women all over the world. I had a vision that it was to be called "World Birth" - because women were "birthing" a new world. I was so certain that was the name the universe wanted. However, in little under a year it became painfully clear that the name wasn't the right one. Everyone thought that we were only about pregnancy around the world - and we got endless submissions about breastfeeding! . Sol, I set about revisioning - and going deep inside myself. We surveyed hundreds of people - and World Pulse was the name everyone loved, including me. It has so much energy -- to this day i love it. This is the energy of women's voices, humming, buzzing, pulsing - creating life.

Then - along came PulseWire! We wanted to create a way that women everywhere in the world could have a voice and report stories from the ground - like a global women's newswire. We wanted to create a new kind of news through the voices of women. Although we wished it could have a more commmunity-feeling name...we settled on the name PulseWire because we could see the wires and the web of pulsing energy connecting women across the globe intor a powerful force. We wanted it to have a special name, that was unique from World Pulse, because we always knew that PulseWire would be a special place that would be owned and led by her community of women.

Interestingly enough when i name things sometimes out of curiosity i check numerology on the name. When i did the numerology on World Pulse and PulseWire -- each one comes up an 11 - and together become a 22. The 22 is one of the most special numbers, it is considered a master number, and it symbolizes great destiny - a global humanitarian leader that connects people in service and support using communications.

When we dreamed of Voices of Our Future -- we knew that rising up would be new voices that would shape the collective future of our world. Absolutely you are voices of the present, but that as soon as the world could hear --- each voice will grow in influence and achieve great power to shift the future for us all.

Cheers to names and your great creativity!

Very interesting

I love stories about how dreams become true. You and the dreamers of the world have one thing in common: they KNOW their idea is great, no need for extra opinions on that point, but from there on, they are always willing to welcome other people's ideas and do some teamwork until they set up their timenline and tasks.

Kudos to you for having made our Pulse Wire become true!

Dear Jensine,

I also believe in numerology! And 22 is my lucky one that followas me every where...
When I was reading your explanations on Pulsewire and World pulse I felt some real energy strikingme...

I was born on 22nd!

And my best memory of my Bday was when I got to be 22 and it was the date of 22nd...

And now again numerology - again 22, here!!!

Like in the Alchemist....

Omens and things that show one that they are on the right path...

Thank you!

You made my day!!!

Rock on with 22!

Rock on indeed!

hey Victoria... I was also born on the 22nd, and my phone number has two sets of 22 in it. An added bonus is that it has 88 in between. Eight is considered to be the luckiest number of all in Chinese culture as it symbolizes fortune and good luck, so 88 means double good fortune. For me, 88 also looks like the Chinese character "囍" that means double happiness. What could be better than that!

still mystery

the numbers are power, the numbers are mystery, and world without numbers would be boring

Do you know Chinese?

Alas no

I used to be able to speak it fairly well as a child but now, my command of the language would be described as pitiful!

Get chills

This process of naming is a template for powerful work and powerful living. With a visceral response to the World Pulse naming story, I fell the universe clearly speaking through you.

A wonderful teacher to us- how you trust and move forward with clear intention.
It really is a remarkable story that we are all partaking in now.

Pure Mathematics :)

Hi Everybody!

I am a daughter of a Great mathematician, who inspired me to love numbers and let me tell you that 22 masters Ancient Wisdom and Realizes Dreams. It is also the Force of Nature, and Nature from the Greek Mythology is a GODDESS called Gaia that brings Universal Love, the Divine Creation and materializes the Earth. It is the Mother of all Gods.

Dear Ladies, Women are the Universe, they can change it from within with the power of belief, hope, faith and love. They are the ones that bring and educate children into this world! 22 builds the Future with the hands of Today.

Take care,

Inspiring words

Olesea, I loved reading this as I too love numbers. You so eloquently spoke to the vision of so many here on PulseWire. I can already see that you will become a great friend and sister to the members of our community, with your insight and observations. Welcome and I look forward to reading more from you.

Great story And Great Names

Hi Jensine,
Knowing the story behind the name WorldPulse makes it greater because it is living up to its name.Though we are not there yet we will get there and whole world would know that women are indeed the universe and the power to build it has been giving to us by God who owns the universe

Wow, real amazing!!!

Really, Jensine! You're not just a genius, you're a beautiful and powerful angel! I love World Pulse! My everlasting gratitude for being here ... truly, destiny moves in mysterious ways. World Pulse brought us together ... women from all over the world who for the longest time have no way of knowing each other and hearing each other's voices are now endlessly connected in a wonderful loop of online sisterhood!

Thank you so much for paving the way, Jensine ... you are amazing!

Great Post!

Thank you. I resonate!

In my understanding, 'world' is different from 'global' or 'earth.' Global means universal, whole. World means 'the earthly state of human existence' (from the Old English word, 'woruld' meaning 'human existence'.) Earth, as our Mother, as Gaia, and as our 'spaceship' where there is no away, combines both.

And I love that you use numerology. I do as well. As I'm sure you know, 11 is also a master number...the first. And, in shorthand, I see it as the higher octave of 2. 2 is relationship and 11 is the higher levels of relationship.

I'm happy to be here!!
