Today I'm applying for grants, specifically the Draper-Richards Foundation grant. I looked for months for grants that would be appropriate to both fund our programs and also our operational costs. Within a few days of joining PulseWire, I had a pretty comprehensive list of grants given to me by a few of the ladies I connected with. I'm impressed. Thanks. Now, wish me luck in getting some of them! I'm sending one off today, and hopefully one per week off for the next few months. I want to make this happen!

I'll drink to that and wish you the best luck in the world. Do you have your lucky underwear? If you don't, run and get some for yourself! Also get some new clothes and change your hairdo: this happy work will bring you tons of good luck. Don't feel bad when the answer is no. From experience I tell you that you have to send like a hundred before you get your first affirmative response. But never give up because funding DOES become true after a while.

Try to get someone from outside to review your work before sending it, as he/she will give you an extra help by giving an opinion. And don't forget to think outside the box.

Nice seeing you around,

Wishing You the Best

Love as you send it out today, may favour encapsulate it. Lots of Love and Luck as we watch you grow powerfully. Jackie's advise is great, someone must edit for a neutral person's second opinion.

All the best Dear!

Good luck!

Hi Lizzy,

It's great to hear that you were able to connect with members on PulseWire to find grants that your organization could qualify and benefit from. We are working on putting together a "Funding 101" list so that other members like you, who are in search of funding, can easily access the information. Please keep us updated on your efforts and the amazing work that you do through Girls Education International. I wish you the best of luck with your grant proposal!

Warm regards,

All the best in your application and please let us know if you receive a grant. We love a good old success story! Best wishes,
