Hi Sole Sistas

I should give my report on my walking. I have taken very nice walks about three times a week in the last two weeks, but this is not only thanks to any of us, but also thanks to the A1H1 flu! Let me explain. Due to the presence of this flu in Bolivian territory, my daughter (my little princess, as I call her), has been given an early winter vacation which is lasting a week longer than planned, so I got myself a companion. This has been awesome, as we talk about everything on the way, and we are both getting better at walking.

Thanks sole sistas for all your support. I realize I could have never done this without you.

Cheers to my third week in row walk- a thons, hehe.

Big hugs,

Jackie

You are my inspiration!

I love the image of you and your princess walking together. How are your blisters?

My training has not been so hot these last few weeks. My excuse? I guess just life: sick family, work, stress, heat, blah, blah blah. And, of course, disappointment that I do not get to travel to France to run a marathon for my big 4-0. This has been my dream since I turned 35. *sigh*

BUT, your recent posts have me cheered me up and motivated me! I am back in action and will be running the Portland Marathon in October. I can do it!

wow!

A marathon! That is big, my friend! I admire you for doing that. You are my hero. I will tell our official cheerleader Janice to not miss the chance of cheerinring you in name of all of us.

Hugs and love,

Jackie

PS: I realized it wasn't the shoes, it was my feet that were not used to walking, hahahaha. I got used to the new challenge by now, and I didn't get blisters again. My feet are getting stronger.

Cheers
