How she would explain to her child?


Mahsa AmrAbadi is a journalist. She has been arrested during post election events. She is pregnant and her family has no news from her. Her family and colleagues are worry for her and her condition.

Her birthday was few days ago and her friends in their newspaper remembered her.

Many journalist have been arrested during recent days. Some because they have been active in one of reformist candidates’ camp, writing for their websites or belong to a party related to reformists or other opposition groups.

Some have been arrested because of practicing their professional job. Some bloggers have been arrested too.

Most of them are under pressure to confess they’ve been part of a plot against the regime and there are news of torturing some of these journalists and activists.
