Blessings of being a mom

I recently received a poem from one of my spiritual daughters and it really moved my heart. She appreciated me for who i am in her life and in the lives of many others. It is a blessing to know as a Mum of two beautiful children and of many spiritual sons and daughters, that what you do or contribute in their lives is making a difference. I want to dedicate this poem given to me, to all mums!
Mother.....
If i could give you diamonds
For each tear you cried for me.
If i could give you sapphires
For each truth you've helped me see
If i could give you rubies
For the heartache you've known
If i could give you pearls
For the wisdom that you have shown.
But i have no pearls,
no diamonds,
As i'm sure you are well aware
So I'll give you gifts more precious
My devotions, love and care.
When days like this are here
to say how very much
you are loved
each day throughout the year
In our family, know that you are
loved and appreciated beyond measure.
