Exchanges of Awareness

I was thinking of this earlier and thought it might be a good thing to start where we can somehow show group support as the Pulsewire Correspondents/Citizen Journalists that are new and learning about it that it is an international group raising awareness through connections and support. It occurred to me when I learned that there is a "list serve" for Aleuts that I joined today.

I was thinking it would be great if the woman on here joined it to show that it is something that has international awareness and then wondered what other ways are there for us to do this for each other? I would love to be able to show that someone in Alaska/America is aware of their country and help show others do care who believe in positive solution based support.

Maybe we can find lists or groups or something we can join (even if we don't get involved in them all that much beyond what our friends ask us to do) to help create that global woman supporting other woman and their countries feel. When I joined the Aleut_L list I mentioned I was a part of this so would love any who can to sign up to show interest and would love to return that kindness however I can.

I believe it does help when they understand that others do know and care about them, it creates a feeling of belonging that can go a long way to believing in yourself and your people. What do you think?

I think its a great idea. We need to support each other and learn from other's experiences. As we are learning, we need to be informed as journalists any such initiative welcome for me.

I would love a link to this...please add me to their list.
We need to belong and support others. Maybe even teach them what we are learning at Pulse.

Oh, thanks! It is the kind you need to sign up yourself for since it sends a verification email to yours before you are joined to it. I do not think it is very active since the only ones I saw was my intro one and a few responses to it so it is pretty quiet but maybe we can stir it up again...

Do you know of any in your area? Or blogs you want us to support? I think it will fun and interesting to learn more about an area since I think we usually just hear what is in the regular news.

Thanks again,
