Introducing myself and my journal: Words of a true african woman

About Me:
I like to think of myself as a lovely lively young woman, i love to speak my mind..........i love to get my messages across. My passion is Africa, my addiction is my country Nigeria. I am a proud African and Nigerian. I just finished my my university Education...I studied chemistry which is something else i love. Writting however is my all time love.

My Passions:
Writting about the beauty of Africa and the wisdom she teaches....Playing the guitar, letting people know that they have the power......I love encouraging people...especially the nigerian youth

My Challenges:
I lack forums in my city where i can air my views...because i am young, most people don't take me seriously

My Vision for the Future:
I'd love to see an africa, where the youth are strong and educated and inspired to work hard.where there'll be no more self inflicted war, hunger, and povety.

My Areas of Expertise:
Poetry is my greatest weapon......with it i can speak like i've never spoken before

Oh Okhianosen don't listen to

Oh Okhianosen don't listen to them. Chemistry is awesome. At some point, I wanted to study chemistry and make beauty products. I'm not planning on making make-up now, but I wanna take courses.

I really encourage you to start writing. I'm in love with Nigerian writers. Are you familiar with Chimamanda Ngozi Adicihie, I've read all her books! I have goodbye Lucille by Segun Afolabi, I really want to read it. I can't wait to read books written by you!

You should start connecting with Farafina and Kwani , they are great African literary magazines.
