Hello there,
I think the world you do is great! You are directly and indirectly helping a lot of women! I get very hopeful when women unite for peace, war and displacement mostly affects women all over the world.
I also don't think your age is a challenge, you have a lot to give to the world:) We share the same vision, you really inspire me to work harder towards a peaceful future!

Thanks you so much for the comment. I have a lot of work to do so I'll need to live to be at least 90. One of the things I'm looking forward to is a big fundraising luncheon on September 21 for Peacemakers, Inc. here in Dallas. Jean Houston will speak about her book, Manual for the Peacemaker. That's the International Day of Peace and we want to celebrate that. Here's hoping we raise a lot of money! Did you look at the website for Peacemakers, Inc.? On the home page I'm in the pink sweater in the middle of the photo. When peace comes it will be because women make it happen.

I was struck by a lot of positive energy from every single woman in the picture:) You look stunning too!

You should go to the Opportunities page under About and post the volunteer opportunities available. I'm sure so many women are interested in volunteering their time and effort!
We've never celebrated the international day of peace here, I'm part of a refugee film festival this year and it is in commemoration of World Refugee day. I would love to get involved in celebrating Int'l day of peace sometime!

It's great to have you here:)

Thank you for the reply. Being part of a global community is wonderful. I admire the work you are doing and look forward to hearing from you again.

I had the pleasure of hearing Helen Johnson Sirleaf speak here in Dallas last month, and I'm so impressed with women of Liberia. There's a great film, Pray the Devil Back to Hell, that tells their story and I can hardly wait to see it. It's incredible what we women can do when we come together.

Blessings on your work.
