Introducing myself and my journal: Reflections for Empowerment

About Me:
I'm in a career transition- moving from a corporate executive to one of a helper/counselor and artist. Throughout my professional life of 35 plus years, I have always maintained my connection to my artistic pursuits. They have been my raison d'etre. I love to walk in the woods and fields and for many years I have grown a most beautiful garden full of flowers and vegetables. I believe that emotional health and well being is the foundation of a productive and fulfilling life. I'm physically active (walking, Pilates, weight training and martial arts training). I look forward to my experience as a mentor.

My Passions:
Art, photography, sewing and walking in nature

My Challenges:
Creating a balanced life

My Vision for the Future:
A place where people of all nations recognize that we are citizens of planet earth first and foremost

My Areas of Expertise:
Photography, video, sewing, life coaching (50-50 helper), finance and business

Welcome

Hi Helen,

Welcome to PulseWire! We are thrilled to have you here in our online community, and also to have your wisdom, experience and compassion as part of the VOF program. I am excited to witness the transformation of Halima to a World Pulse Correspondent, and I think you will gain just as much enrichment out of this relationship with her. Wonderful!

I encourage you to also participate here on PulseWire as there are endless opportunities for connections. The best way to communicate and share your voice is to write in your journal, read the journals of fellow members and offer comments, or join a group and share in the dialogue by contributing to the group journal. Based on your interests, there are a few groups that might interest you. And please feel free to create your own if you see a need for one that is not available.
