Save draft feature for posts?

Tags:

I'm wondering whether it is possible to add the ability to save an unpublished draft of a journal entry. As the mother of a baby, I rarely get a long enough chunk of time to write something in full. Being able to save a draft without having to publish an incomplete journal entry would be a big help! Thanks!

hey

So currently, we do not have the tech for that. But then again, this is a beta and something to that effect will be on the horizon. I will pass the info on.

cheers,

Thanks for the request!

You're the second person who has mentioned to me this week. I think it's a terrific idea, and I'll take it to our product development meeting tomorrow for discussion.

Keep those suggestions coming!

that is a great idea

I use different computers through out the week and it would be a nice feature to be able to just click 'save' and not publish...

The Band-aid Approach

Hi there.

It also just occurred to me that you can always edit your own posts, so if you are in a pinch, I encourage you to go ahead and make your post, with a note that you'll finish it later!

To return to it later, locate the post and choose edit post from the options on the right, where you see comments and tags listed.

Just an idea... Hope it will be helpful!

another idea

I have the exact same challenge of trying to cram in writing time with a little one. Another interim solution is to write your post off line in a word doc or an email to yourself and then transfer it.

I'm glad the Pulsewire team is considering adding this functionality.
