Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I am 52 years young and grateful to be alive at this most wonderful time of change. I am a mother of grown sons and have many grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. I am a special education teacher, but also a student of life. I am always searching for ways to conserve energy and live as simply and naturally as I can. I am also an artist...though I haven't created anything for awhile...that soon will change...I am restructuring, but I didn't get a bailout, so it's taking me awhile.

My Passions:
Art

My Challenges:
My career as a Special Education Teacher for severly challenged elementary students

My Vision for the Future:
A sweatlodge on my property, an horno, spiritual growth for self and others, a growing respect for all our relations from people to plants, all people loving and caring for our Mother Earth once again

My Areas of Expertise:
I am a Jill of many trades, but a master of none

Welcome

We are so happy to have you as a member of our community. On PulseWire, you will find inspiring women who have dared to speak out and are making connections crossing oceans, continents, and cultural barriers to change the way we live. Stories are being told, movements are being started and laws are being reformed as lives are transformed. You are now a member of this vibrant community and I look forward to reading more about your passions, ideas, concerns and dreams. I encourage you to reach out to other members by writing in your journal, or start a dialogue by commenting on another member's journal entry.

Also, did you know that you can build powerful networks through PulseWire Groups (http://www.worldpulse.com/pulsewire/groups)? There are many amazing groups here, full of inspired and strong voices. I have no doubt you will find PulseWire to be engaging and thought-provoking. Enjoy the journey of restructuring and welcome,
Janice
