Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I am a feminist, 48, married with two children, one of which has a chronic, disabling illness. My passions are beauty and design, spirituality, native rituals and traditions, the natural world, Indian philosophy, and alternative healing traditions. My new website,, creates a forum for sharing ideas and personal stories on the ways we bring beauty, depth, and soul into home and garden. I want to connect with women from other cultures to learn about their ideas of female wisdom and spirit, ritual, and how they bring beauty, soul, and healing into home and garden. I believe that as we honor women's lives and the home, and embrace our own wisdom and healing ways, we empower women and we transform the world through compassion.

My Challenges:
Raising a child with a degenerative illness and being unable to travel and visit other cultures

My Vision for the Future:
World peace, elevating the feminine ways and wisdom in the world of understanding, and ending environmental degradation

My Areas of Expertise:
A dusty law degree, dealing with the medical system, research

Welcome to PulseWire!

We are excited that you have decided to join our online community. I know that you will find this to be a positive experience and encourage you to take advantage of the numerous resources and features available through our vibrant online community. Take a moment to post a picture of yourself, or a symbol that has meaning to you. Then tell us about yourself: your interests, goals, dreams, ideas, concerns¦ and write a journal entry in order to join the online dialogue and have your voice heard. You may also be interested in joining a group of members with similar interests to your own where you can talk about issues that concern you, or find support. We encourage you to start your own group if you do not find one that matches your interests.

And finally, take some time to browse through Resource Exchange, a global bulletin board designed to offer access to needed resources as well as the ability to provide resources to those in need; or explore and contribute to Sharing Solutions, our library of working models and blueprints.

Welcome again to our global community and I look forward to hearing more from you here on PulseWire!

A warm welcome

Hi Blooming8,

Perfect that you could link your blog to Pulsewire inviting many spirited women to join you to elevate feminine ways and wisdom. I love that phrase.

Too funny- a dusty law degree- not your cup of tea at the moment? I imagine you are spending more time in your beautiful home and garden than pleading with a judge.

You'll have a wonderful time connecting with this global sisterhood. I'm sure of it...look forward to reading your blog and hearing from you on Pulsewire.
