early morning call - 2 AM

This Sunday morning I again woke up at 2am. Yesterday, I also did wake up at 2am
I was wondering why did I wake up?
at that moment I remember one of my elders recommendation. if you wake up early in the morning that means there is a call for you. Listen carefully.

A call to pray for someone,
a call to think of a particular situation in your life.

I woke up at 2am two days in the row, and find that I needed to think of my health,
How is my heart?
Why I'm so tired, why this stress?

I was able to gather all the anxiety I had regarding the moving of my organization to a new place and send it off, trusting the divine that everything will be alright, it is not my power, I can only pray and release it, when I'm no longer in charge then the pieces of the puzzle will come together and I will have peace.

My way of combating is through fasting. Fasting was the message I got, in this early morning call.
Praying and fasting can give me clarity of mind, peace and also a way for me to heal.

Peace to you!

Wake-up call!

I, too, often get up at real early times... I never thought of it as a wake-up call from nature, though. That's an interesting thought! Thanks for posting this!

Every time you smile, you make the world a better place. :3

Morning Call

I never thought of waking up suddenly as a call from Nature to do something. Thanks for sharing, and I'll remember I have something to do if I wake up really early in the morning. Thanks for sharing.

prayer and fasting

I was raised Russian Orthodox and 1 year did the Lenten fast and felt the power of fasting and feeding your soul with prayers instead of food. We left the church before the girls were old enough to try doing one but I was reminded of it when reading this post. I think a lot of religions include this because it does help you reconnect yourself to the spiritual world.

I am glad you realized the message so you can enjoy a good night's sleep for awhile!

Share it with the girls

Dear Maria,

Thank you for making a comment to my post.
I never heard of the lenten fast and would like to learn more about it.
I taught that you should tell the girls about the fasting and then later on they can try it.
i also do believe that youngsters can join us in the fasting if we share with why we are fasting.
Right now, Merane, who is not 4 years old yet, is sharing with me this very important moment. of course she is not abstaining from food but she is praying and she is reminding maman to bless her everything time.

peace,

Evelyne,

Atchiman
