Milanie, it is wonderful to have you as a member of PulseWire. I would love to get you started in your quest to make meaningful connections with women around the world by introducing you to a few of our members.

What can I say about Leah. She is a shining light on PulseWire and has done much to educate us on how HIV affects communities in Kenya. She can be found at:

mamaAfrica works tirelessly to improve the conditions of women and children in rural Kenya, founding literacy programs, building libraries and more. Her Rafiki club has brought together women from around the world, exchanging letters of hope and dreams in an effort to promote literacy in rural Kenya. mamaAfrica and her Rafiki group can be found at:

Maria is an enthusiastic member who brings a fresh viewpoint to issues that affect women around the world. She has become a friend to many in a short time and I know would love to meet you. She can be found at:

Yangdol's contributions to women's rights and the liberation of her country has made such a significant impact on the lives of many and we are so happy to be able to provide a platform for her to give voice to the silenced and unheard in Tibet. She can be found at:

And finally, Nalubega is an advocate for women's education in the rural areas of Uganda and through her organization, Uganda SPACE, works hard to realize her vision of a poverty-free Uganda. She can be found at:

We have so many amazing women here and this is just a sampling of the connections being made across oceans, cultures and borders. If you have any particular interests, please let me know and I will try to steer you in the right direction. Again, welcome.

Welcome to World Pulse

I think you have come to just the right place. Your work with empowering girls and women links hand and hand with the mission of World Pulse. Janice has given you many active and inspired members who will be great connections.

I am not sure if you have heard of the Council of the 13 Grandmothers? It seems that every week I talk to a woman who
is learning about their teachings. As a grandmother and mother connecting through mind, body, and spirit it seems
their teachings would be perfectly in line with your thinking. I will be attending their conference in August in Lincoln City, Oregon and hopefully my mom will be joining me!
The ways of the Grandmothers is being heard.

To many connections here at Pulsewire for you!
