Lero-Lero

Lero-Lero, the title of Brazilian songstress Luisa Maita’s debut solo album, means “chit chat” in English. Raised in a musically inclined family and steeped in the musical heritage of her country, Maita has managed to link classic sounds such as the distinct squeak of the Brazilian cuica with surprising guest appearances by the fiddle, breath sounds, and clapping hands.
