According to the World Bank, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and India have achieved gender parity at the primary school level with progress being made in Afghanistan, Nepal, and Pakistan. But this is only true at the secondary level in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives. Tell us, do the numbers tell the whole story?
