Women in the World Summit
Last year 300 women leaders came together for a trailblazing conference that explored the greatest challenges facing the world’s women. Many of the same women are returning in March—this time to consider solutions.
The second annual Women in the World conference, co-hosted by Tina Brown, editor-in-chief of The Daily Beast, promises a dynamic discussion of global success stories. Confirmed participants include Ingrid Betancourt, Leymah Gbowee, Meryl Streep, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Condoleeza Rice, and ambassador Melanne Verveer. “Women are the mothers of invention,” says Tina Brown. “This summit will bring together the inspirational people and ideas generating remarkable success stories all over the world.”

Congratulations to all women around the world!!!!!
Tina,
Yesterday women all over the world were hail for what many will say part on the back. many great woman, not forgetting my good friend and sister Leymah Gbowee. At hundred years what cant we all talk about? We still have gender discrimination, violence against women, so many challenges towards our freedom, our freedom should be earned.
look in Ivory Cost, our women are been killed in cold blood, homeless, and homes been ransacked.
In Abidjan today how many women in the forefront cant speak up? Maybe i will this as an opportunity to sign up as many other women will do, to be very critical to the point that No to the voicesless women, NO TO VIOLENCE!!!!
In times of war women are always the bigger loser
Thanks
Frederica,.
