Using the Media to Empower Women
This March, Women, Action and the Media (WAM) will convene to explore the tensions that exist between insiders and outsiders. The conference promises to provide dynamic workshops, panel discussions, and presentations addressing topics such as harnessing new media for activism, rapid response journalism, and feminism and social change. This year's key note speakers include a panel of women journalists reporting from the frontlines of conflict.
