In December, World Pulse Voices of Our Future correspondents Sunita Basnet of Nepal, Jacqueline Patiño of Bolivia, and Malayapinas of the Philippines joined Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, Arianna Huffington, Eve Ensler, and other global leaders as speakers at the first-ever TEDWomen conference.
These award-winning correspondents have emerged from the inaugural class of the World Pulse Voices of Our Future citizen journalism and web 2.0 training program equipped with new tools and powerful visions for the world’s women.
Sunita, Jacqueline, and Malayapinas were joined onstage by conference co-host Pat Mitchell to explore the exciting potential of citizen journalism and women-led networks.
With just a few minutes of speaking time, Jacqueline, Sunita, and Malayapinas moved the audience at TEDWomen and made powerful and lasting connections.
You can read Sunita's and Jacqueline's reflections from this historic gathering on PulseWire.

Exciting!
To describe TED experience in one word is impossible, so I will only tell you that it was... Awesome! Thanks to all of you, who were always there for us, cheering us, showing us the way, reading our articles, creating and making this wonderful community be alive at all times.
Yes, we were there, but we never forgot that it was all thanks to the remarkable support of such a loving community of women working for women that World Pulse has fostered.
I will leave you with the phrase that I heard from Mrs. Madelaine Albright: "There is a special place in hell for women who don´t give women a chance", to which I will add: "And there is an even more special place in hell for women who belittle other women".
This phrase is my inspiration to give voice to the women that have been belittled for so long now, and that thanks to you, my worldwide sisters, are today being heard.
