Hillary Clinton Announces Partnership Between World Pulse and Intel

The volume is rising! Last week at the Clinton Global Initiative annual meeting, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced our partnership with Intel to bridge the digital divide for five million women and girls in Africa. World Pulse and Intel will collaborate on the ‘She Will Connect’ program, Intel’s initiative to reduce the significant gender and technology gap around the world, a fact highlighted in the company’s “Women and the Web” report released last January. In October 2012, the Taliban attempted to assassinate 15-year-old Pakistani girls' education activist Malala Yousafzai. In response, the world rallied to fight for the rights of girls everywhere to attend school. We honored Malala's 16th birthday last week with an emagazine highlighting stories from our Girls Transform the World Campaign, where we crowd-sourced the voices of women and men championing girls' rights.
