PulseWire Member Wins Grant for Community Health Project

More accolades for Sunita Basnet, Voices of Our Future correspondent and valued member of the World Pulse community! Sunita received a $1000 grant from World Pulse partner International Women’s Health Coalition (IWHC) to implement her vision for a healthier community. She will use the money to support a local campaign for free health care as well as the production of an educational street drama designed to raise awareness about health and rights.

Sunita was selected as IWHC’s 2010 visionary leader out of more than 70 young people from 26 countries. She was selected for the merits of her project proposal and for her strong track record of “engagement with communities of youth.”
