Follow Our Editor, Reporting On the Ground in Zambia!
On Sunday, World Pulse managing editor Corine Milano arrived in Lusaka, Zambia. As one of ten innovative journalists and new media experts selected for an International Reporting Project New Media trip, she will be reporting over the next two weeks on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria through the eyes of women.
She has already begun meetings and interviews with World Pulse community members to develop their stories on what it is like to live in a changing Zambia.
In between site visits, attending expert panels, and collaborating with World Pulse members on stories, Corine will be regularly updating her World Pulse journal as she travels across the country.
In what will likely be the highlight of the trip, Corine will be hosting a meet up for World Pulse community members located in and around Lusaka on July 26. For everyone who is not in Zambia, watch the activity on the online community for the inevitable outpouring of excitement and collaborative energy that happens whenever World Pulse members get together in person!
